Multi-competitions “Games of the Future” have started in Russia. This is a new format proposed by the Russian organizers, where disciplines in classical sports are combined with computer simulations. The organizers are confident that such a format will attract great attention from the younger generation.

The hockey discipline is called “Digital Hockey”. According to the rules of these competitions, the teams play each other first in a 3×3 NHL computer simulator, and then play on real ice in this format.
It is pleasant to note that the leading roles in these competitions are played by players who have completed the short hockey school. And even the stars of our sport, such as Anton Borko, Gleb Miroshnikov, Pavel Podluboshny, Sergey Gorbunov, Evgeny Kostin and Nikita Khoba.

Anton Borko

Time will tell how much the public will like this format. But in any case, this is a great opportunity for many athletes to compete!
