The national short hockey federations of France, Latvia and the UAE have applied for membership of the ISHF.
Their applications will be considered by the Presidium at the next meeting, at which, in addition to this matter, the venue of the World Short Hockey Championship will be discussed.
The UAE and France are applying to join the international federation for the first time, while the Latvian federation is making a second attempt. The first was made in March 2021.
France and Latvia are also bidding to host the next WCS European championships.
