A meeting of the ISHF Liga Pro Electrostal, Russia Open 2021 Disciplinary Commission took place on Friday 23 April.
The meeting considered controversial episodes in matches involving certain teams.
The following decisions were taken: a number of players of the Crystal Electrostal team will be removed from the ISHF tournaments due to the suspicion of breaking the fair play rules, the Crystal team was given a collective disciplinary warning, as well as changes in the Crystal team application to the ISHF Liga Pro Electrostal, Russia Open 2021 tournament were accepted.
The same disciplinary warning has been issued to Team Almaty.
The match between Almaty and Ledianye Voiny, which took place on Saturday, April 24, has raised suspicions about its fairness. On it also next week, under the representation of the President of the Russian Short Hockey Federation Dmitry Olegovich Rudometov, a second meeting will be convened to consider the disputed episodes and the behavior of the players, as well as to decide on the fairness of the match.
